SALTBOX Studio was born from a deep desire to design homes from initial client discussions and napkin sketches to final fixtures and finishes. My approach to design is always centered around the ‘whole home’ vision, whether it’s a custom home tailored to a client’s unique needs or a speculative project for a builder. From start to finish, I immerse myself in every detail to ensure the end result is both beautiful and livable.

I am committed to blending creativity with functionality, crafting spaces that honor both the vision and the practicality of daily life. Each project is an opportunity to explore new, innovative ideas and push the boundaries of design, always with the goal of creating spaces that truly feel like home to those who inhabit them.

A few ‘fun facts’ about me:

• In 7th grade, my math teacher told us to take a sheet of graph paper and design a house. I took six sheets and designed a two-story shopping mall. That’s when I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up.

• I am a native Austinite but moved with my husband and kids to Colorado five years ago. I still work primarily out of Austin because my clients rock (and also, queso), but my heart belongs to the mountains!

• I like my whiskey on the rocks.
